YONKERS, NY – Lansdowne Rugby Football Club are happy to continue their relationship with their principal sponsors, who will be sponsoring the various kits and training gear that the players will be wearing during the upcoming 2020 season. The Heritage Bar & Restaurant, will continue to appear prominently on the front of Lansdowne’s latest match jerseys, with their signature “H” logo. The Heritage & Lansdowne have enjoyed a strong relationship spanning about 2 decades, with the Collum family proudly backing the Woodlawn Boys since taking over the premier McLean Avenue Pub in 2007.
“We’ve always had a great time after matches at the Heritage, and we’re thankful for Eugene, Eileen, Micheal and the family for being such a major supporter of our Rugby Club,” remarked Chairman Paul Antezzo.
Adding to the jerseys are 2020’s sleeve sponsorship are Daly’s Pub, located in Astoria, NY, right on 31st street. Daly’s have become a major part of Lansdowne since the club began expanding its player and fan appeal deep into the city, with Daly’s serving as the perfect hub for matches held closer to downtown. Daly’s are the home pub to many of the Queens and Brooklyn based lads, and their owner have always been a major supporter of the club, providing much needed help when the club needs to grow.
Our latest kit sponsor will be “The Craic,” based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The Craic are proud to be the sponsor on our sweatshirts and other training material. “We are optimistic of a strong relationship with the management of The Craic, in our efforts to continue appealing to more city based players and fans, and eventually taking over the city as a whole.”
